Velasil is a ready-to-use decorative coating designed to create a smooth, matte, translucent watercolor effect.
Its formulation includes:
- Oligomeric siloxanes
- Permanent anti-mold and anti-fungal agents
- Selected aggregates
- Natural UV-resistant pigments

Technology
Siloxane-based decorative finish
Velasil is engineered to help maintain a healthy, comfortable indoor environment. Its formulation achieves an optimal balance between water repellency and water vapor permeability, allowing walls to breathe while remaining protected.
The finish forms a microporous, siloxane-based film that behaves like a selective membrane:
- Liquid water (such as rain) is blocked by the physical barrier created by the controlled porosity of the film.
- Water vapor, with a much smaller molecular size, passes freely through the finish and the substrate.
This controlled porosity ensures excellent water repellency, moisture management, and long-term durability—ideal for both interior and exterior applications.
